The Burning Up the Beaches car show in Destin, FL takes place May 4-6 in 2012 featuring beautiful, classic cars cruising the Emerald Coast. Burning Up the Beaches not only has incredible cars and people, but it also supports a great cause. This car show was designed in conjunction with the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce as a fundraiser for Horizons of Okaloosa County, whose goal is to provide valued services including advocacy, education and support for people with disabilities, their families, and others in the community. Proceeds from the Burning up the Beaches car show go to benefit the Horizons of Okaloosa County program.
Burning up the Beaches is officially held in Fort Walton Beach and features cruising, showing, live music, prizes, vendors, awards, and more! The cruising stops include The Boardwalk in Fort Walton Beach, Destin Commons, Emerald Grande, Helen Back, S&S Customs, and the Air Force Museum.
Vendors will be setup where visitors can purchase all sorts of accessories and detailing supplies for their rides.
Saturday night revs up with the Beach Bash and Drawdown TO $5,000! Live music will be provided by the Famous Emerald Coast Blues Brothers.
The event takes place from 6pm to 9pm at the Swamp and will feature FREE Food, fantastic live music, prizes, and bar. The Beach Bash is open to both cruisers and car show participants!
